From our fields to your table, we offer a variety of fresh, organic produce and farm-made products. Our lamb is renowned for its quality and flavor, raised with care and respect. We also produce a range of artisanal goods preserves, and traditional Icelandic delicacies. At the farm, there is a small and family friendly camp site with toilets, one shower, a little wooden shelter, walking path and a possibility of sleeping bag accommodation, if weather is not showing it´s best!
Opening time: The campside is open daily during summer and upon request other time of the year (October 1st – May 1st), but December and January are often closed for camping due to bad weather conditions. So always make an appointment if you are travelling during winter months.
Bjarteyjarsandur Farm is located just a short drive from Reykjavik, making it an ideal day trip or weekend getaway.
Glymur, Iceland’s tallest waterfall, is just a 15-minute drive from the farm. It plunges 198 meters into a breathtaking gorge, surrounded by lush, green cliffs—a truly stunning sight!
